## Class times in China

You book every class in your local time in China: China Standard Time (UTC+8) nationwide,
all year. There is no daylight saving time, so the clock never changes, and your
class stays at the same local time. Classes run 24 hours a day, and the weekend
in China is Saturday and Sunday, so popular slots are after school, in the evening,
and on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

WhatsApp and Google Meet usually do not work in mainland China. Book through the
website form or email us, and we will test the class platform with you before the
trial class.

## Who are the classes for?

Children from age 5 starting with the Noorani Qaida or memorizing Juz ʿAmma, adults
who want to correct their recitation or finish memorizing, and advanced students
who want an ijazah with a connected sanad in Hafs or another riwayah. You can choose
a female teacher, and parents receive written progress reports.

## How to start from China

Book the free trial class and write the time that suits you in China time. The teacher
checks the level and suggests a plan and a number of classes. You pay monthly in
US dollars and can change or pause your package. Every class is one-on-one by video,
and if the teacher is not the right fit we match you with another at no cost.
