## Class times in New Zealand

You book every class in your local time in New Zealand: New Zealand time (UTC+12,
UTC+13 in summer). Daylight saving starts on the last Sunday in September and ends
on the first Sunday in April, and your class stays at the same local time. Classes
run 24 hours a day, and the weekend in New Zealand is Saturday and Sunday, so popular
slots are after school, in the evening, and on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

New Zealand is far ahead in time, but classes run 24 hours a day, so after-school
and weekend slots are still available.

## Who are the classes for?

Children from age 5 starting with the Noorani Qaida or memorizing Juz ʿAmma, adults
who want to correct their recitation or finish memorizing, and advanced students
who want an ijazah with a connected sanad in Hafs or another riwayah. You can choose
a female teacher, and parents receive written progress reports.

## How to start from New Zealand

Book the free trial class and write the time that suits you in New Zealand time.
The teacher checks the level and suggests a plan and a number of classes. You pay
monthly in US dollars and can change or pause your package. Every class is one-on-
one by video, and if the teacher is not the right fit we match you with another
at no cost.
