Class times in Australia
You book every class in your local time in Australia: several time zones (Eastern, Central and Western). New South Wales, Victoria, the ACT, South Australia and Tasmania use daylight saving from the first Sunday in October to the first Sunday in April; Queensland, Western Australia and the Northern Territory do not, and your class stays at the same local time. Classes run 24 hours a day, and the weekend in Australia is Saturday and Sunday, so popular slots are after school, in the evening, and on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Because classes run 24 hours a day, the large time difference is not a problem: book after school in Sydney or Perth in your own time.
Who are the classes for?
Children from age 5 starting with the Noorani Qaida or memorizing Juz ʿAmma, adults who want to correct their recitation or finish memorizing, and advanced students who want an ijazah with a connected sanad in Hafs or another riwayah. You can choose a female teacher, and parents receive written progress reports.
How to start from Australia
